Light
The goal of the project was to pick a location on the Farmingdale State College campus and design a building that uses light in interesting ways to brighten up each of the chapel rooms. Each chapel will serve as a great resource for students to come and reflect on life.

Light Research- Chartres Cathedral
With the use of stained glass, Chartres Cathedral gets washed with natural light.

I chose this location because there are few buildings in close proximity to the chapel, therefore there is less of a chance that sunlight could be blocked. The chapel will also be residing next to an already existing space.
